Jiyoung (Katie) Kim, is a licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is board certified and registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA of BC).
Ms. Kim’s philosophy is to utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to healing to augment and amplify the body’s innate, natural abilities and functions to heal injuries and maintain itself.
Her key areas of practice include women’s health, pain management, athletic pain and injury treatment, chronic pain, and cosmetic therapies. Her focus is on providing her patients with thorough, individualized, and comprehensive care, treating a variety of specific conditions and
symptoms utilizing various techniques and treatment modalities within the scope of acupuncture and TCM. These include: Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Knife Needling, Spinal Alignment and Postural Adjustment, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Motor Point Acupuncture, Neuro-Anatomical Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, Moxibustion, and herbal medicine.
She has been working in the medical profession for more than a decade and has lived in both Seoul, South Korea and the Lower Mainland in British Columbia, Canada.
